Why do we let the food & drinks industry poison us with aspartame
It is impossible these days to buy even a non-''diet'' bottle of lemonade
without it contains aspartame. l refuse to touch the stuff: it gives me
headaches and it causes depression; it has deleterious effects on
childrens' behaviour. Should not we be voting with our wallets and
refusing to buy anything containing this chemical which is good for
nothing except the chemical industry?
Because we think we want to be skinny.
We let them do it because almost everything in the store has
the stuff in it and unless your Amish you can not get away from the stuff.
You are so right. People consume these diet drinks by the
gallon that are filled with aspartame. They think it is going to help cut
calories, but I saw a news report that proves diet drinks can actually
keep you from losing weight. America may as well be drinking rat poison!
Do you know how many overwieght children I see drinking diet drinks? Our
society is health is in serious trouble and it is sad to say we are the
blame.
u r absolutely right .aspartame is an artificial sweetener . it
is about 2000 times sweeter than sucrose. but is bad for health . we
really want to do about it but in this world nothing is pure.
has anyone come forward yet with a ''united anti -aspertame
campaign probably not on a large scale hey? because they enjoy cold drinks
in general I'd say.

I completely agree with you. A friend of mine did a research
paper on the detrimental effects that aspartame can have on people as well
as the environmnet. And diet drinks -especially- is full of the chemical.
I don't know why people aren't as informed about this subject as they
should be!
